I have SADIE who is just going into 9th grade. She is a little preppy, uber modest and loves her shoes (especially if they are flats). She almost always has a big old flower clipped into her hair. She seems to be the ultimate goody-two-shoes, until you see her walk out the door in her 'Guns n' Roses' t-shirt. She likes fun and vibrant colors...mostly greens & blues. She also loves big, long, detailed necklaces. Her makeup is always kinda smokey, which accentuates those big blue honest eyeballs. So pretty to look into :]
Then there's CAIT who's absolutely my wild child with her edgy style, long thin body and changing hair styles. She just entered her Senior Year! Ever since she went to beauty school the hair has seen many different shades of black, brown and blonde...with the edge of a pink, red or purple strand here and there. Her favorite thing (and i think it's one of her best talents) is makeup! She can paint a face that is so totally colorful and interesting and still looks super hot! Other girls would try that and look like a circus clown...but definately not my Cait. She's got a knack for "edgy" and it is what sets her apart from the crowd.
They both impress me with their funny quirks and personal style. They are two totally different girls who have the same blood runnin' through their veins :]
I should feel super old...but i don't, just wondering where all the time went? And also why i can't dress them anymore? Hmmm...? I guess that would be a little creepy :]
However, at the end of the day, when we are all just chillin' at home we tend to wear our jammie bottoms with a comfy t-shirt or hoodie (depending on the season). Sadie tends to wear less clothes when we are relaxing, because she's a furnace! Cait wears her hoodie and fuzzy slippers even in the summer, i guess it's that 0% body fat? But, no matter what they always look super darling and they are always matching with their hair all in these fabulous little up-do's, it's a pretty darn cute look for bedtime. And they both look fabulous without makeup!
Oh to be 17 again, weigh next to nothing, wear all the fitting and tight cut styles. It would be amazing...but let's be honest, that's a lot to keep up with. I pride myself on raising my girls to just be themselves. They both have a healthy confidence about who they are. They have very spiritual souls and loving hearts - and that's what's the most important! I LOVE MY GIRLS :]
