i doodle...

It started for me when i was really young & now i've passed it on to my girls and even some of their friends.  When i'm bored or have some spare time...i doodle.  Now, all those i love doodle too.
My dad got me started on doodling.  When i was little and his office was in the basement i would go down and visit him before i went to bed.  Even though he was super busy, he would sit me on his lap and we would doodle...making faces out of numbers or sensless pictures out of letters.  It's one of my favorite memories of my tiny youth.
When church is totally boring, we all start doodling.  CJ draws funny pictures of people or animals doing silly things and then passes it to one of the kids in our ward and they usually draw something funny and pass it back.  I usually write my families names in box or bubble letters and fill them in with some clever design...i'm a big fan of doodling sun's and daisy's too.  Sadie always starts up the "finish my random doodle" game by scribbling some kind of line or squirly and then passes it to me to make a picture out of it.  Caitlyn is always drawing something that would look really good as a tatoo, like hibiscus flowers or graffiti...sometimes she draws people, little stick figures with cute faces.
So, i doodle.  I love it and now my family does too.  Doodling isn't something to brag about in reguards to what you've passed down to your children...but i don't care, it's taught them to be creative and visual.  Give us a pencil and paper and we are happy!  Add some crayons, markers or colored pencils and we are even happier :]
Caitlyn's art and doodles have great graphic design...she has the ability to make her art look real.
Mine.  I love color and randomness.  Bright, cheerful and chaotic...that's me.
Sadie is all about personality in her doodling...it's always cutsie and SO her.
