Our Cobalt was great for tubing and cruising Lake Powell...but then the girls decided to really get into wakeboarding and stuff.  So, we moved back to getting a ski boat.  What ya do for your kids!  It's a great boat that can produce a serious wake or no wake at all...freakin' cool :]

Thanks to a good friend, CJ tried surfing.  And that was it...a month later, there I was in Marine Products searching for a decent surf board for a 'decent' price?  Boy toys are expensive.

So here we are at Utah Lake mastering the art of surfing.  Tyler (nephew) is becoming quite the pro.  He's going on his mission in September, so surf on!

After Ty, CJ suited up for his go!  He's good at almost everything...so he did great.  Him and Ty flipped the board on the wake and tried all sorts of little tricks.  It's just so much fun to watch!

Cait and I were a little nervous about trying, but we did!  I got up on my 2nd try!!!  I'm so uncoordinated with water sports...I was proud ;]  I never brag, so take it for what it's worth.  I even enjoyed the wipeouts because the were "soft"...happy day :]

Cait got up right away and just couldn't stop smiling!  At one time she surfed right up to the boat and we were laughing so hard because she was close enough to give us a high 5!

Summer is awesome!  I love the warmth and I love all the "spare time" activities we are so blessed to have the chance to do :]  Especially when it is with my family!  (Sadie was at her cousins cabin & we missed her...but trust me...she can surf too!)
