week 7...more little blessings

Week 7 was a whole lot about my little Sadie (she does NOT mind the attention ;])! She turned 16 on saturday...but the party seemed to start thursday and last until last night???  However, many other little things gave me much pleasure this week also...so enjoy!

august 18th - just a few of my sadie's fantastic friends who showed up to the BIG 16 party!  total - there were 25, that's why i stayed inside ;]  it's such a blessing when your kids find such good friends!
august 19th - Sadie's birthday-eve meal...her choice!  The blessing in this is that she CAN still eat all this without ending up in the bathroom all the next day ;]
august 20th - this is a photo of Sadie (about 1 1/2 yrs ago) with her Grandpa Park .  Today is her birthday, and Grandpa Parks too.  However, this is the first year she had to celebrate without him.  They had the same birthday and shared the same talent...kindred spirits :]  He called her his "little august 20". Grandpa passed away in march and so this birthday was a little bitter sweet for my girl.  We are just super happy that we lived as long as we did with him and are grateful he is up there watching over us :]
august 21st - the color i painted the accent wall in my new preschool....i love it....it made me happy!
august 22 - our HARVEST!  we can eat fresh tonight!  YAY!
august 23rd - my husband...yep he's my little blessing today, he makes me laugh and loves to have fun.  I LOVE HIM!
august 24th - My brother just stopped by my home last night with his wife and  little girl.  My brother has always been there for me.  We understand each other - humor, frustrations, movies, music and life.  This pic was taken a couple years ago...but it's my favorite of the two of us, just kinda says it all!
Some weeks are just happy ones.  This was one of them :]  I'm behind on my laundry, My bed isn't made and I don't think I have cooked one meal?  Crazy is good sometimes ;]  On my way to catching up now!
