week 10!

I'm just sure that life is what we make it.  If we're sad...life is sad.  If we're happy...life is happy.  I can't say that am a great example of how to be "happy" all them time.  I think people who seem overly happy ALL the time are truely nuts!  However, the idea of trying to make things better, happier or more of whatever it is you like to be - is a fabulous idea!  I've actively been trying hard to live by this idea for the last couple months of my life.  It kinda seems to be working :]  I've noticed that I am much more forgiving, non-judmental and less offended when stupid things happen.  Don't get me wrong, I'm still those things sometimes...it's just a tad easier to accept.
So, the last 3 or so weeks, I've been noticing little gifts that last longer than a split second.  It's hard to take a pic of something that seems to be ongoing?  I'm just going to share the moments from the last 7 days that have been so great...here goes:
september 8th...i noticed some little drawings (from the preschool open-house) that made me and my girls giggle:
this is a turtle...can you see it? i know that the green part must be the body, because the blue is the shell and the 2 red shapes are the arms.  fantastic!
don't know if this is a lady bug, jelly fish...what do you think?  my FAVORITE things are randomness, color and doodling!  so this day thrilled me :]
september 9th
without even trying i came upon this pic of my FAV band...Angels and Airwaves.  i love them, they make me smile :]
september 10th
my baby's first date and first high school dance...HOMECOMING!  a few tears ;]
september 11th
my cute nephew Tyler Park gave an awesome farewell talk today and will be leaving for Orlando, Florida to serve a mission for the LDS church...so proud of him...love him!
september 12th - 14th
My Little Preschool opened it's doors for learning and play!  A blessing in the works for almost 1 year now!  The first day, when talking about sharing, one of my "bigs" said, "my baby brother likes to share his apples if they are in chunks when he spits them out...but if he swallows them, then he doesn't share."  On the "littles" first day a cute little girl told me, "You don't let your dogs in to come to preschool because they would just poop all the time."  I think I'm going to LOVE the things I, ALONE, get to hear from the mouths of these's little babes :D

"Pretty much all the honest truth telling there is in the world is done by children." -Oliver Wendel Holmes
(i LOVE this quote :]!)

Have a HAPPY day!
