I think everything has just gone absolutely haywire this last week! Sadie went back to school, a sophmore at Riverton High! Cait didn't...BECAUSE SHE'S GONNA BE IN COLLEGE! We taped and then painted the basement, which seemed to take an eternity! Poor Ed got hit by a car and spent some time in the vet getting all patched up (incredible he's not dead! not even a broken bone!) Helped a good guy with a terrible addiction get out of jail! Ran SO MANY erronds, I can't even remember 1/2 of them...and so on! Haywire...absolutely haywire! But it's good, it reminds me of how much I have been blessed with and exactly what I am grateful for :]
So...here we go...
August 25th - the beginning of a very crazy week came with a big storm burst. it was beautiful and intense...right up my ally! LOVE a good storm :]
August 26th - sometimes it's just tough to find the time to cook a decent homemade meal for the fam. Thank the Good Lord Above for Costco chicken noodle soup! heat it....serve it....delicious!
August 27th - a good laugh is sure to make my day! and my girls and hub's always have something up their sleeve that makes me want to pee my pants! while shopping at Lowes for flooring "stuff", my Sadie grabs one of those 'handicapped' carts you drive and just starts following us around the store...a 16 year old, in a driving cart! i thought they would kick her out for sure...but no, they laughed too! you probably had to be there, but it was a good laugh! didn't get a pic of it...so here's a cute one from her first day of high school :]
August 28th - i finished writing the primary program! it was complete about 3 weeks ago, but sinse then 12 kids have moved into our ward! so a small re-write was in order :] happy it's now accomplished and every child has a part!
August 29th - i got to pick up my nephew from kindergarten today and play with him for the afternoon...it was a BLAST!!! we went to McDonalds for a burger, he played on the playground and decided the basketball spot was his favorite! he made 95% of his 'backward' free throws! he was soooo proud of himself, i was proud of him too :] i even got a video!
August 30th - Jesus Christ said "Charity Never Faithleth" and i believe that's true. A person very close to my family found themselves in a world of hurt this week. i was so mad and disappointed in this person. however, my hub's extended a little charity and we (my fam) found ourselves forgiving this person and extending our love and hope for them to recover soon. life isn't always a bowl of cherries...but sometimes we find faith in things that seem dark.
August 31st - i'm finishing my basement (not by myself...with lot's of help!) so i can run a legit preschool out of my home. it's been stressful and hard to squish everything in when it's needed to be done. my mom called and just flat out said "i'm coming to your house and helping you with whatever you need." of coarse i said "no, it's ok mom...you have too much on your plate right now." she said "well, i'm coming! so ya better find something for me to do!" i have an awesome mom! my dad's pretty awesome too ;]
It seems like the harder my week is, the more blessings i receive...it's weird and humbling. That's why it's so good for me to do this on my blog everyweek, i look for blessings...and i find them :]

Lisa, I would love to see your script for your primary program. Our primary president writes ours and frankly, they are bland. I am sure yours is wonderful. If you think about it or get a chance, will you email it to me? momsapackerbacker@gmail.com
