i love patterned paper...so....

I love patterned paper, so...i scrapbook.  However, this love affair started with a box of crayola crayons and coloring books....not patterned paper.  It has evolved over these many 40 years, from the crayons to stickers, from stickers to felt tip pens, from felt tip pens to clip art, then from clip art to stamps, and finally from stamps to patterned paper :]
Now, i am certainly not the most creative or professional scrapbooker in the universe.  I just love to play with paper, pens and color!  So my creations are not the most fancy or decorated you'll ever see, but they are simple and they are mine.  No one really scrapbooks like i do anymore.  So many do it on the computer with these amazing programs...and that's great!  I love the feeling of creating something with my own hands and my own mental thought process.  Like i said before, i like to keep things simple.  That being said, i also love for my stuff to turn out interesting and eye-catching.
Color and pattern are an inspiration to me.  These are what make me love the things i love... nature, architecture, design, paper, fashion....etc.  I don't know what i would be like if i had never noticed the beauty in a new box of crayons?  God bless crayons! :]
