I have always lived in the samed state, same county, same valley...but in different towns :] I currently live in Bluffdale, Utah. It's a quiet little community on the very southern boarder of Salt Lake County. I've heard it refered to many times as "horseyville." Yep, there's a whole lot of horses here (& that's part of the reason we moved here) :] I love this community, I love my neighbors!

my front yard and my trees after what i call a 'beautiful!' toilet paper job! ;] |
I lived right across the street from the University of Utah when I was born. Then I lived mostly in Holladay growing up. I got married and we moved back up kind of by the University of Utah. Then we moved back into the Holldady area! Decided we wanted a more quite life with room to run and raise our horses :] That's when we found Bluffdale. As a family we like to have friends over for big bonfires and horse riding. Our dogs LOVE the space the have to play too!

Utah baby!! Now thats All-American to an English lass like me. You must have an AWESOME accent. :) My kids would love to live there, they are horse crazy!
ReplyDeleteYour community looks like a beautiful place to live as well. Because our town is so old, I feel like we're on top of one another. You have so much elbow room there.
ReplyDeleteOh, and I almost forgot to mention, I love the toilet paper landscaping!
Best,

It looks like a wonderful place. I would love to have horses one day, but my Ben is not an animal lover. I know, I know. How could I not marry an animal lover? I didn't know until we were married. I guess he has to have at least one flaw. Ally and I have been begging for a dog for years. After we are done renting I am just going to bring one home someday and not care what he thinks!
ReplyDeleteKerry - THANKS! i always think people view Utah as a boring desert...you saying that's all-american is a huge compliment! Your accent (i'm sure!) is cooler than ours ;]
ReplyDeleteThanks, as well, Emily and Laura :]
(and Laura, it's always easier to ask for forgivness after the deed has been done...get the dog!)
