WHIMSY WEDNESDAY  (paper, glue, create something new)

I spent a small fortune at Hobby Lobby today.  I went to buy a new 11x14 frame (which I did and it's super cute - red - my fav decorating color!), and came out with 2 sets of new scrapbooking supplies!  One is a journal of sorts.  A cross between journaling and scrapbooking....pictured below.  The other set is just for regular old scrapbooking.  I am a super sucker for doodling journals and stickers and...well...paper products in general!  So WHAT A SCORE for me :]

After starting dinner and dropping Sadie off at her piano lesson...I dug right in to my new "journal" and started coloring and gluing.  I'm pretty sure I didn't have to spend the $14.99 for this book, could'a used a regular notebook binder, but I didn't...this one's too cute.  I'm usually pretty anal about my handwriting, picture placement and wording...but not in this journal, not gonna happen!  It's "RAW" me.

The book and most of my supplies are from K&C Company, SMASH series.  They have different 'themed' collections...but of course I love the Doodle Collection!
