thoughtful thursday & fashion friday all squeezed into spontaneous saturday :]

CJ, Sadie and I traveled up to the Teton Slide horse show (in Idaho Falls) on thursday and then CJ and Sadie showed their horses on friday....SO, I didn't have the ability to post for those 2 days.  Oh well, we are home now so here it ALL is!

Traveling always takes it's toll!  I feel tired and cramped and ready to sleep in my own bed every time I return home from a trip.  Well, when we did return home we found a batch of chocolate chip cookies on our counter.  OH HAPPY DAY....they are my most favorite!

The cookies had been sent by our neighbors/friends to thank CJ for giving them a horse bridle and halter for their daughter to use in her barrel racing competitions.  Now, usually, on thoughtful thursday I would post something I did for someone to make their day a little brighter (give myself the opportunity to serve/give more), but this was such a pleasant surprise....I posted it instead :]  My neighbors have no idea how awesome it made us feel to come home to a plate of deliciousness after a really long day of horse shows and travel!   My personality is such that it's uncomfortable for me to receive gifts or attention.  I sure appreciated this gift.  Thanks Oakley Anderson for the super yummy cookies!!

LET'S TALK CLOGS!

Since the 70's I have LOVED clogs.  When they were completely out of style, for like 30 years, I still loved them!  I loved the pair I had when I was young and I love the few I have in my closet now, I could buy them all.

I posted a perfect (for me) outfit to sport some clogs with!  It's posted in the previous post! :]
