my cardinal rules are...and i just broke one!

I think everyone has their own set of "rules" they will NOT EVER brake.   I have mine.  I broke one of them today.  I paired blue with black, in my outfit.  OH, HEAVEN FORBID!!!!  Yep, that's about as serious as it gets.
black cardigan with blue tie die leggings...the horror.

Human beings are such funny creatures.  We're all walking around on this earth, with our own agenda...our own set of rules.  We should all understand this and respect each other a little more.  Example:   My CJ has a rule...DON'T say "Sorry!" without action.  If you apologize, then ya better fix it.  To CJ "sorry" is not an excuse, and he's right!  We all apologize to each other with a 'sorry' then walk away.  However, if we are truly sorry we should change our actions and not do it again.  That's a good rule.  It took me a long time to sincerely appreciate his "sorry" rule and begin to respect it and understand it.  I now only say "I'm sorry" when I honestly mean it and intend to change my actions.  I wish everyone had the decency to respect others 'rules'.  NOT agree, necessarily, just respect.  There is a huge difference between the two.

That being said...my rules are these - drum roll....
#1. DON'T take the Lords name in vain!
#2. Whispering in front of others is just lame, never do that!
#3. Never pretend to be someone your not! (it's uncomfortable and doesn't suit you...Miley should have learned that from Brittney - just sayin')
#4. If you don't have anything to say...then PLEASE don't say anything at all *silence is an art*
#5. If you have to live through it then ya damn sure better learn from it!
#6. Don't ask for someone's opinion if you don't really want it.
#7. Blue and pink eye shadow is out of style and will never be back "in" like it was in the 80's...don't.
#8. Fashion is overrated.
#9. Choose kindness...you can't go wrong.
#10. Never, absolutely ever, wear black with blue!  (that applies to black with brown as well...it's a jr. high thing - I never got over it!)

I've sinned and broke my own rules, occasionally.  We all do, that's why we came up with the word forgive...we can forgive ourselves (it's just really hard...especially for stubborn people...i'd know!).  However, the older I get the easier it is and I respect others "rules" as well, even if I think they are INSANE!  I just don't tell them I think they are insane, because that's mean, and I have my own rule about that...#9.

"MY LIFE...MY RULES."  -zaxoulis

Peace out peeps!
